After proudly serving in the army and law enforcement, my wife and I, along with our two amazing teenage boys, made the move to Eastern NC in late 2017. Music has been a constant source of joy in my life, filling every moment with its rhythm. Whether it's discovering new tunes or savoring the classics, I can confidently say I've embraced a vast musical repertoire.


For the past two years, I've been spinning tracks at diverse venues—clubs, parties, and more recently, online gatherings. Now, I am eager to bring my passion for music to your special event. Be it a wedding, party, or ball, I am dedicated to making it an unforgettable experience, infusing the celebration with the perfect beats to create lasting memories. Dream Entertainment Q&A with DJ Bobo: 


What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?

I like to watch the crowd. If the dance floor is packed I'll be keeping up the same music type. On the other hand, if the dance floor scatters when I transition into the next song then I know that music isn't cutting it. It also depends on where you dj'ing at too. You need to play an off-the-wall song at a club so they can go get drinks and take a break. When you're playing at a wedding or a birthday party,  it's specifically the songs requested by the couple or birthday person.


How would you describe your ‘style’?

I like to play anything and everything. I learned that you can talk to people by just playing music. I can remind people to get a drink, step out, and take a break, or that their loved one is special, and I'll also include a touch of comedy to keep the guests entertained.


What do you love most about your job?

I like reminding people that a certain song exists, or a type of music exists. Nowadays people are so in touch with technology and what's new,  that they forget to include the past. I always hear it, I was 16 and cruising in my Camaro with the T-tops open when I first heard this song! It's seeing the expressions and stories from people when I play a familiar song that means something to them.


What inspired you to start your DJing?

I've always loved music and have been considered a channel surfer. All my life, I've noticed most songs have a basic beat that sounds the same. I would sing other songs on top of the song playing and wonder about a mashup and basically make my own. As technology evolved, I started to follow other DJs on social media, listening to them, and learning. Shortly after I felt confident enough to try it, I bought my first controller and the rest is history.

I like to bring people together through music. It makes me happy. I feel as if I could select a perfect playlist and have your dance floor full all night. I want everyone from the little kids to the elderly out there enjoying your special day. I can make it happen.
