Kaitlyn Lewis

Kaitlyn was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina and has been passionate about arts and entertainment her entire life.

She originally intended to pursue a career in Art Education and graduated from Coastal Carolina Community with an Associate in Fine Art and later graduated Cum Laude from Mississippi College with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She instead became a professional Bellydancer, and in 2007 began teaching and performing all over ENC and the Eastern Seaboard. She went on to tour with "Bellydance Evolution", a world dance company based out of Los Angeles, California. She was chosen to join BDE on an international cast of performers on a 2 1/2 month, 28 City tour in China in 2016 with their hit show "Alice in Wonderland".

During her career as a professional Bellydance Artist, Kaitlyn produced and helped coordinate countless dance-related festivals and events in North Carolina and surrounding states. She is the Creative Director and Founder of Apsara & Aljamaea dance troupes. She has enjoyed regular performance opportunities at venues such as Taverna Agora in Raleigh, The Barzarre of Wilmington, and Marrakesh of Jacksonville. Kaitlyn is also an NC Licensed Esthetician, a devoted Mom to a gorgeous and talented daughter, and is thrilled to be a part of the Dream Entertainment team!
